| Job Description |
IT Project Manager Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall IT Infrastructure and Applications Program portfolio. Manage the overall process for project intake and review, and support the IT account managers to deliver their projects
• Be the main contact point for the local team on Project Delivery Framework and Portfolio Management processes
• Be the focal point between the Global and local teams on project delivery processes
• Educate local IT staff on new developments in project management processes
• Develop new metrics and maintain existing project metrics
• Seek innovative and cost-effective ways to designing, supporting and implementing new site build out projects.
• Ensure Infrastructure (end user + back-office) build-out according to the organization's standards
• Ensure assigned projects in portfolio are delivered within scope, timeline and budget
• Manage a small team of project administration staff as required
Requirements:
• At least 5 years commercial IT experience
• At least 5 years of Project managing infrastructure projects
• At least 2 years of Program management experience managing several projects within the program.
• Extensive knowledge and management of IT infrastructure (not limited to networking, data centre, server and applications)
• Understand the downstream impact of transformation and work with technical people
• Demonstrated ability to manage a culturally diverse mid sized team in an organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present concepts and ideas in a coherent manner, and influence decision making
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
