Position Title: Change and Release Manager
Summary:
- Manage the Change and Release process including facilitating the Change Advisory Board(CAB). Apply the ITIL based Change and Release discipline to the AP and A region.
- Provide management reporting on all activities within the Data Centers and the AP and A region including change management, release management, and problem management, and any other reporting requirements as required by the organization
Duties:
- Responsible for the integrity and quality of all Hosting and Engineering CoE Change and Release Management within the Singapore data centers and the AP and A region
- Ensure that global Change and Release management methodology policy is complied with in the AP and A region
- Institute a regular communication process with regional stake holders to review and schedule changes based on priority and business needs. e.g. publishing of forward schedule of changes
- Identify and implement appropriate risk management initiatives to manage production changes
- Mentoring and coaching of all regional team members to encourage adoption of the Change and Release management disciplines
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all engineering and process elements of Change Management within AP and A ITI
- Ensure adherence and compliance with all relevant client standard methodologies and disciplines, such as SDM, ITPM and ITIL
- Responsible to provide management reporting on all activities within the data centers and the AP and A region including change management, release management, and problem management, and any other reporting requirements as required by the organization
Skills Required:
- 5 years of experience in one or more systems management functions, e.g. data center operations, asset management, production support, change control and/or release management
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and processes;
- Solid understanding of the value of common practices and standards in the areas of systems management, systems development life cycle, and security and controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical background, as well as a solid understanding of how infrastructure tools and processes support the application environment, and ultimately, the business
Special Considerations:
- The person in this role may be required to travel within the region to ensure appropriate training and awareness of Change and Release Management requirements.
- The occupant of this role is required to interface with stakeholders in Dearborn and in the AP and A region. This may require flexibility in working hours.
