| Job Description |
Market Data Business Analyst, AVP
The Role:
1.To maintain accurate records of all market data expenditure globally in the MDM inventory database for the Bank
2.To ensure all market data spend are associated with relevant cost centre numbers
3.To maintain permission control and access to Market Data services and act as the primary gatekeeper of DACS for all countries, inclusive of managing global vendors relationship
4.To process monthly market data invoices through MDM database and provide a report by cost centre number to illustrate the invoice details and cost breakdown
5.To provide monthly reports as specified in Financial Process to APU and FSSC for invoice payment, cost allocation, accruals and pre-payment
6.To generate monthly expenditure report for the BPM/GM Support from associated business units for verification before paying invoices by APU and review the monthly spend to drive down the market data costs ultimately

2.Project Management skills and strong interpersonal skills.
3.Service Management skills and techniques.
4.Man management of external (vendor) resources.
5.Ability to train operational staff in new procedures.
6.Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
7.Understanding of business market data requirements.
8.Understanding of Reuters and Bloomberg global support procedures.
Skills:
1.MDSL / MDM / RMDS knowledge
2.P2PS delivery Host/LAN/POP
3.Cascading delivery options (Cascaded/Backup).
4.DACS (WAN connectivity).
5.Extensive knowledge of the various market Data vendors and the services they provide
6.Strong knowledge of e-business trading tools.
7.Rate manipulation techniques. (Spreading/Skew/weighting).
8.Rate derivation. (Crosses etc).
9.Strong knowledge of all financial products to include FX, Money Markets, and any exchange based products
