Lawyer
Our client an international Engineering Procurement and Construction company, with a recognized global reputation providing professional services to the Oil and Gas Industry, urgently requires a Lawyer to carry the following roles:
• Provide legal support to teams that are evaluating new opportunities
• Lead discussion and develop legal contract or agreement required in deal development
• Play expert role in giving legal answers to complex problems
• Support negotiation with counterpart in legal context
• Apply understanding of international legal or business laws and regulations to cross border M and A situations
• Perform a function of boards secretariat as required in legal context
Candidates who apply will have the following qualifications and relevant work experiences:
Education
• Bachelor or Master degree in legal related field or other analytical business field
Work Experience
• At least 5 to 8 years experience in business law analysis and business contract arrangement for foreign party or in international context
• Excellent knowledge in M and A transaction, investment structure and co-investment is a plus
• Excellent knowledge in petroleum business is a plus
Competences
• Good negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. • English language fluency
• Can work in multi-cultural settings globally
• Can accommodate traveling to remote area and or foreign countries
