| Job Description |
Senior System Engineer
· Project planning, deployment and commissioning for projects of at least US$3M
· Act as 2nd level technical support and/or provide 3rd level post implementation support to the company's customers
· Project supervision and mentoring when assigned as team lead
· Manage post implementation support issues
· Conduct post implementation review as part of quality process
· Conduct internal training as part of knowledge sharing
· Explore new security technologies to meet market demand
· Performing and delivering design and consulting services in security projects when called upon
· Perform solutioning function, i.e. working together with Pre-Sales and Sales team to do requirement gathering, when called upon
· Assist in the preparation of proposals, performing demonstrations and proof of concepts
· Position and present the benefits of the solution to the client if required
Required Pre-requisite
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
CCIE or CCDP supersede CCDA
CCIE or CCIP or CCDP or CCNP or CCSP supersede CCNA
· Cisco Secure VPN Specialist CQS
· Cisco Secure Firewall Specialist CQS or CCSP
· Bachelors degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields), or equivalent
· 4-6 years professional experience in systems administration or related field
· Good knowledge of the IT Security industry
· Strong knowledge in firewall and VPN, intrusion protection and intrusion prevention as well as virus protection, AntiSpam and content filtering
· Strong customer focus, both internal and external
· Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and managers in customer environments
· Strong presentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Chinese
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, international environment and flexibility to manage multiple priorities
· Self-motivated and able to work independently with very little supervision
