| Job Description |
Tool Maker
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company. Their Manufacturing Plant in Jurong is currently seeking suitably qualified candidates for the position of Tool Maker.
Salary: Basic $2200-$3000 + Shift Allowances + Overtime + Transport Allowance + Other fringe benefits
Working days: 5 Days (12-hrs Rotating Shift)
Working location: Jurong
Job Scope
• Perform tooling debugging on new stamping tool and as well as existing tool
• Responsible for new product qualifying and scale up
• Assist other tool makers in tooling maintenance and troubleshooting to support production
• Assist tool maintenance group in performing preventive maintenance on precision tooling
• Implement and evaluate improvement activities for precision tooling and production
• Perform tooling debug on and off the stamping press machine
• Operate stamping press machines during debug for production scale up independently
• Operate grinding machines (PG, SG, etc.)
• Involve in tooling improvement activities
Job Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Nitec/Higher Nitec/STPM/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Precision Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool and Die) or Mechanical Engineering
• Required skill(s): Tool and Die
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Applicants must be willing to perform permanent 12-hr rotating shifts
• Preferably Junior Executives specialising in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
• Singaporean Citizen, Singapore PR and Malaysian only
