Portfolio Manager
**THIS ROLE IS TO BE BASED IN MALAYSIA**
** 2 years fixed term contract or permanent employment**
Common:
Plan, manage and drive IT initiatives to meet the requirements of the business unit
To lead business analysts and solution designers in collating comprehensive business requirements and designing effective solutions
Define key initative milestones and develop a project timeline accordingly
To ensure that the product is delivered on time to business
Develop a resourcing plan for each initiative and secure resource commitments through Delivery Office
To ensure the delivery of quality solutions and comprehensive project documentation
Review budget forecasts from Business Analysts and ensure that estimates are sound and reasonable
Ensure that enhancements to existing systems meet the evolving business needs ( via proposed BIPs or change requests)
Obtain input from Ops and Support to ensure alignment to enterprise risk management requirements
To develop Business Investment Plans
To conduct a detailed study of feasibility of new IT products/services and submit a comprehensive
feasibility report to CIO
Innovation Specific:
Identify and explore business opportunities provided by IT
Identify and explore latest technology available in the market which can be implemented to derive business value for Astro
Identification of areas in need of Innovative products or services
Ensure cost effectiveness of innovation initiatives
